Artist's Workshop
Creativity is a talent we are all born with but it needs practice to stay vibrant and keep growing. FireSlide Productions Inc. has two creative workshops to help artists and writers expand their creative potential.
This is a Workshop for Artists and Writers who:
- Are craving exposure and are willing to publicly share their work.
- Want to focus on the entire creative process, from start to finish.
- Who are eager to work with a collective group of artists and writers.
- Who desire to work with other artists and writers to create a collaborative multimedia show.
- Are looking to get their creative hands dirty and have a willingness to make mistakes.
FireSlide Productions provides a workshop for artists of all disciplines. The workshop is focused on having artists create breakthroughs in their creative process. It provides artists with a place to explore several different mediums and learn from other artists. It encourages you to participate with the group and discover as many different perspectives and as possible.
The workshops help artists expand their knowledge beyond what they already know about creating art.
We begin with weekly sessions; each led by a different workshop participant who shares knowledge and hands-on experience of their particular field. Each week will also include exercises and time to learn from others and create freely without focusing on any final product.
Midway through the workshop we shift our focus to specific creative pieces of work that you will cultivate individually, collectively or collaboratively. At this point we switch to a bi-weekly schedule, and we focus on the process and the product helping you expand and clarify your view. We work towards your final product(s) for the show.
What is required of the Artists:
- To attend all workshops throughout the year and leading up to the show.
- To participate and share your views and your process.
- To complete your projects including any homework.
- To have fun!
We accept creative individuals of all artistic back grounds from movement to photography, from fairy tales to screenplays, from experienced to beginner.
