Writer's Workshop
Creativity is a talent we are all born with but it needs practice to stay vibrant and keep growing. FireSlide Productions Inc. has two creative workshops to help artists and writers expand their creative potential.
This is a Workshop for Artists and Writers who:
- Are craving exposure and are willing to publicly share their work.
- Want to focus on the entire creative process, from start to finish.
- Who are eager to work with a collective group of artists and writers.
- Who desire to work with other artists and writers to create a collaborative multimedia show.
- Are looking to get their creative hands dirty and have a willingness to make mistakes.
These workshops are for individuals that are looking for a step up in their writing endeavours. Our workshops do not just give you a few tips and hints on how to be a better writer; instead we have you get your hands in up to the elbows with creativity. We pride ourselves on actually taking you through an entire process that after months of work leads to performance. This is not a read.
We begin with free play with writing and its many forms then support your chosen piece and help you develop your vision to its highest potential. Then as the show approaches we begin to focus on your piece for performance. You will have an opportunity to creative and work with others to make your work come to life for our showcase. Showcasing your work and abilities is something we are very proud to do. We organize actors, directors, and everything else. We are about helping artist develop their work and bringing an audience to them in order to accelerate their success and accomplishments.
We love Canadian artists and believe in the excellence that exists here. If you feel you are ready to get creative and have your work take centre stage this is a workshop for you!
We accept creative individuals of all artistic back grounds from movement to photography, from fairy tales to screenplays, from experienced to beginner.
